The Volvo VNL LED Fog Light Kit is getting closer!  It’s perhaps the most requested item to-date.  Many of you have upgraded your headlights, and want the same kind of upgrade for the fog lights.  We’ve been working on it for a while, but things are finally starting to come together the way we’d like.  We still have a good bit of work to do, but expect the kit to be available in early December.  Here’s what we know so far:

  • The LED assembly will drop in to the existing fog light housings with a custom mounting bracket.  Each one contains 3 Philips LEDs mounted behind the optics to provide a wide beam with a clean, flat vertical cutoff for optimal visibility in poor weather.
  • The only tools needed will be a Philips screwdriver (to remove the cover on the back of the housing) and a 10mm wrench (to pull the light out of the bumper).
  • No fault codes, plug-in wiring.
